We would like extend a special invitation to marching bands from around the area to participate in our parade.
Parade Times:
- The Kiddie Parade begins at 10:00 am and runs north on Main St., from Valley to Stewart Streets. Registration & check-in is in the Cherry Valley Family Grocer parking lot. A waiver for each child or family participating is required. Waivers will be available for signing on parade day. Check in begins at 9:00 am.
- The Grand Parade begins at 10:30 am and follows the same route.
Check in:
- The check-in point for the Grand Parade is in the Union Bank parking lot at 15305 Main Street NE. Check in starts at 9:00 am, and no later than 10:00 am. It is recommended that one person from your group does the check-in.
- Each Grand Parade entry needs to sign in and receive your placement number for the parade. Your number indicates the order in which you will march in the parade. Placement in the parade is final and non-negotiable.
Contact & phone #’s:
- Please be prepared to give us a cell number when you register so we can communicate with you, if needed. It is a good idea to designate a group drop off and meeting point, this will save you time and cut down on any anxiety during parade day. Main Street (State Route 203) will be closed from 143rd to Stewart from 8 am until 6 pm.
Medians:
- If your group must stay together & cannot part to each side of the medians, you will need to decide which side of the street to march on.
Just a reminder:
- Throwing of ANY items by participants is forbidden during the parade as it is a danger to both the parade watchers and participants (including but not limited to candy and Silly String).
